Building GOYOG, Hyderabad's construction services marketplace
GOYOG brought us a one-page brief. Together we are turning it into a business: apps for homeowners and tradespeople, an operations dashboard and a website, where every pro is verified, every quote is itemised and money moves only when the work is approved.

Read this page as a preview of working with us
Most of this page is about GOYOG. The parts marked For your project explain how we would work through your idea the same way, from the first conversation to launch day.
Plain language, always
You never have to decode jargon to make a decision. Every recommendation comes with the reason behind it.
A plan before a price
We research your market and write down what to build first, so the scope is clear before any build work begins.
Something real every week
A working build you can try on your own phone every week, rather than a status report.
It's all yours
Code, designs, accounts and data sit in your name from day one.
Hiring a mason in Hyderabad still runs on word of mouth
GOYOG came to us with a clear ambition: one app for every construction need, from a leaking tap to a full renovation. The brief listed seven trades and four ways to earn. What it needed was a product shape that would work for the people on both sides of a job, and a plan to build it without wasting money.
So before we designed anything, we asked a simpler question: what goes wrong today, and for whom?
Homeowners
- Can't check who they are letting into their home
- Agree prices verbally, then argue about them later
- Pay upfront, before the work is proven
Tradespeople
- Skilled, but work arrives in fits and starts
- Chase payments for weeks after a job
- A good reputation doesn't travel past the street
GOYOG, the business
- Needs one platform for a one-hour fix and a month-long renovation
- Has to earn trust on both sides from the first job
- Must follow tax, labour and data rules from day one
We sized the market before we drew a single screen
A short research sprint covered three things: how big the opportunity is, who else is in the space, and which rules apply. Each finding changed the product.
Where GOYOG fits
Categories, not companies. Positions reflect our assessment during research.
Rules we mapped before design
- GST and TDS rules for online platformsInvoices and tax records built into every booking
- Telangana's law for platform gig workersProvider registration and earnings records kept from the first job
- Social security code for gig workersProvider details captured in a reusable format
- Digital personal data protectionClear consent, data stored in India, deletion on request
- Consumer protection for e-commerceUpfront pricing, a named grievance contact and refund rules
- Construction welfare cess and building permitsLarge projects flagged early, so nobody is surprised mid-build
GOYOG's accountant and lawyer confirm each item. We design the product so following the rules is the easy path.
Four products, one platform, four ways to book
Each person in a job gets a tool shaped around what they need to do next. All four share one source of truth, so a job looks the same to everyone.
Customer app
Book, compare quotes, track the job and approve each stage before money moves.
Provider app
Accept jobs, send itemised quotes, prove the work with photos and see weekly earnings.
Operations dashboard
Verify providers, watch live jobs by zone, settle disputes and approve weekly payouts.
Website
Explains the promise, ranks for local searches and signs up new providers.
Four ways to book, one set of screens
Every mode shares the same flow, so customers only learn it once.Every screen answers one question: what happens next?
Concept designs with sample data. Final screens will change as we test them with homeowners and crews in Hyderabad.

- 1Search understands "wall crack" or "leaking tap", because most people don't know which trade they need.
- 2Clear trade icons for people who prefer to browse.
- 3Big projects get their own entry point, with quotes from up to three pros.

- 1Every quote follows the same format: duration, start date and rework warranty.
- 2Scope is itemised with quantities, so nothing hides in a lump sum.
- 3Customers see the stages and pay only for the first one to begin.

- 1Calls go through a private line, so neither side shares a personal number.
- 2A timeline records each step with time stamps and before photos.
- 3The customer shares a finish code only when they're happy.

- 1One progress ring answers "are we on schedule?"
- 2Each stage arrives with photos and a checklist taken from the quote.
- 3The next stage stays locked until the customer approves this one.

- 1Large buttons and high contrast for bright sunlight and dusty hands.
- 2Jobs this week and the payout day sit at the top, because that's what pros check first.
- 3An SOS button is always one tap away on site.
Live jobs by zone, the four things that need a person right now, and a weekly payout that an operations lead prepares and an accountant approves before any money leaves.

Money moves only when the work is confirmed
The customer pays into a held balance at booking. The provider is paid only after the customer confirms, and payouts are batched weekly after an accountant's check.
- 01RequestPhotos, address and a visit slot.
- 02MatchA verified pro nearby, or up to three quotes.
- 03Pay into holdThe customer pays. GOYOG holds it.
- 04Start codeWork begins with a code and before photos.
- 05ApproveAfter photos and a finish code, or a stage approval.
- 06Weekly payoutChecked by an accountant, paid every Monday.
One platform underneath, ready to grow
You don't need to be technical to understand how your product works. This is the same picture we walked GOYOG through before building.
Safety designed into every step, not added later
A stranger entering your home is the biggest fear in this market. Eight safeguards answer it, for customers and for crews.
We test the journey before we polish the look
Wireframes let a client react to the flow, not the colours. Every numbered note is a decision we can explain, and change cheaply before any code is written.

Phase 1 plan: about ten weeks from kickoff to launch
A working build every week from week 5How we'll help you understand your project, then build it
Most founders arrive with an idea and a long list of unknowns: what it will take, what to build first, what could go wrong. Our first job is to turn those unknowns into a plan you can read, question and own. This is the same six-stage path we're following with GOYOG.
- STAGE 01About 45 minutes
Discovery call
We listen first: the problem, who it's for, how you plan to earn, and what worries you most.
You getA written summary of your ideaThe open questions we'd need to answerAn honest view on whether it's ready to buildYour time: one call - STAGE 02Typically 1–2 weeks
Research sprint
We size the market, map who you're up against and check the rules that apply to your business.
You getMarket size, with sourcesA competitor and positioning mapA checklist of rules and registrationsYour time: one review call - STAGE 03Typically 1 week
Product blueprint
Together we decide what the first version must do well, and what can wait for later.
You getFeatures split into phasesUser journeys and a plain-words architectureA timeline and a fixed quote for phase oneYour time: two workshops - STAGE 04Typically 2 weeks
Brand and prototype
Your name, your look, and a clickable prototype you can hold in your hand and show people.
You getA brand identityWireframes and final screen designsA prototype tested with real usersYour time: feedback twice a week - STAGE 05Typically 4–8 weeks
Build, with weekly releases
We build in small steps, and you try every step on your own phone.
You getA new working build every weekA shared tracker you can check any timeA weekly call with the people building itYour time: about 30 minutes a week - STAGE 06Launch, then ongoing
Launch and grow
We get you live and stay close while your first real users arrive.
You getStore listings and a launch checklistTraining and handover documentsA roadmap for phase twoYour time: as much as you like
You can stop after any stage and keep everything produced so far.

Eight questions to bring to your first call
Tick the ones you can already answer. Don't worry about the rest: working them out together is what discovery is for.
Bring them to a discovery callWhat we can build for you
GOYOG is a marketplace, but the same research, design and engineering apply to most products that connect people, money and operations.
Questions founders ask us first
Something else on your mind? Ask it on the first call. There's no such thing as a basic question when it's your money and your idea.
I only have an idea. Is that too early?
No. Most of our projects start there. The discovery call and research sprint exist to turn an idea into a plan, and you can stop after either one with documents you keep.
How do you price a project?
With a fixed price for each phase, agreed after the product blueprint. You'll know what phase one costs and what it includes before any build work starts.
How long does a first version take?
It depends on scope. GOYOG's first phase, with two apps, a dashboard and a website, is planned at about ten weeks from kickoff to launch. Smaller products can be quicker.
Will I own the code and the accounts?
Yes. Code, designs, app store listings, cloud accounts and domains are set up in your name, so you're never locked in.
Can you help with registrations and compliance?
We map what applies to your business during research and set up the technical side, such as SMS sender registration and payment accounts. Your accountant and lawyer sign off on the legal side.
Can you work with my existing team?
Yes. We can lead the whole build, or take on research, design or one product alongside your developers.
What happens after launch?
We offer ongoing support and phase-two development. If you'd rather take it in-house, we hand over everything your team needs to carry on.
Tell us about your project
A few lines is enough. We'll read it properly and come back with next steps and a time for a discovery call.
- 1You send a short brief
- 2We reply with questions and a call time
- 3You get a written summary after the call
